The Secret Things, Cynthia new project, are a sexy, loud, rock n’ roll trio based in Los Angeles. Influenced by artists PJ Harvey, Nirvana, Elliott Smith, Muse, Rage Against the Machine and The Tragically Hip, Cynthia Catania (vocals/guitar), Dan Nelles (drums) and Steve Giles (bass) came together in early 2016 to begin writing and recording what would eventually become their debut EP “Shock Diary”. In previous projects, these three have played festival stages for thousands, signed record deals, had domestic & international radio play, and released videos with hundreds of thousands of views. The bands’ additional singles “Down By the Water” and “Bully” can be found on Spotify and iTunes respectively. TST has recently signed with Loud Kult out of Sweden (with distribution by The Orchard/Sony Music). Coming this October is the bands’ new single “Keeper,” with a shout out to the #MeToo campaign, the pitfalls of the glamorized lifestyles lived by upcoming starlets and the Harvey Weinstein types of Tinsel town. Single drops October 5th.
